Design with Intention.
At Allure Design Lab, luxury is more than aesthetics, it’s a curated experience.
With designer presence in both Colorado Springs and Buena Vista, we proudly serve clients throughout the surrounding areas. With over 22 years of combined experience, we specialize in spatial planning, detailed construction documentation, realistic visual renderings, and the thoughtful curation of materials and furnishings.
Our strong foundation in construction allows us to anticipate challenges, refine details, and develop each design with execution in mind. Through thoughtful planning and comprehensive construction documentation, we provide homeowners and builders with the clarity and direction needed to minimize guesswork, preserve design intent, and bring each detail together with confidence throughout the building process.
Guided by our philosophy of “luxury. design. redefined.,” we aim to reshape how elevated design can reach and inspire a broader audience. Whether you're a luxury seeker or a cost-conscious dreamer, we believe exceptional design is an investment that extends far beyond aesthetics.
Welcome to Allure.
ROOTED IN COLLABORATION
Who We Are.
Amber Mielke
FOUNDER & PRINCIPAL DESIGNER
With over 18 years in the design industry, Amber brings a depth of experience and a distinct creative perspective to every project. Her background spans hospitality and furniture design, and most recently a focus on kitchen and bath remodeling. Holding professional certifications through both the National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA) and the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI), she remains dedicated to refining her craft and furthering her expertise.
The founding of Allure Design Lab marks the realization of Amber’s longtime ambition to own and operate a design studio. What began as a personal aspiration has evolved into an opportunity to pursue her passion for design through meaningful projects, creative exploration, and collaboration.
Amber’s personal aesthetic is an artful blend of Art Deco glamour and Mid-Century Modern influence. Drawn to bold character, timeless silhouettes, and unexpected details, her own home reflects this eclectic sensibility, where classic elegance and modern charm coexist effortlessly.
Lexi Overmyer
FOUNDER & PRINCIPAL DESIGNER
With a degree in Interior Design and certifications in Professional Computer-Aided Drafting, Lexi brings a thoughtful balance of creativity and technical expertise to Allure Design Lab. Her background in construction documentation and design/build shapes an approach rooted in intentional planning, refined aesthetics, and an appreciation for details that bring a space together.
For Lexi, thoughtful design extends beyond the visual. It is found in the way a space functions, how materials relate to one another, and the careful consideration of how the design details are communicated through clear, comprehensive construction plans. Through Allure Design Lab, she brings together her passion for beautiful interiors and the technical precision required to translate ideas into thoughtfully developed spaces.
Drawn to interiors that feel collected rather than curated, Lexi finds inspiration in traditional craftsmanship, vintage character, natural materials, and the understated elegance of European design. Her personal aesthetic embraces warm, grounding tones and a sense of nostalgia, balancing timeless elements with a modern simplicity.
